Life coaches help their clients create a pathway that will help them reach their goals. Therapists analyze their client's past as a tool for understanding present behaviors. In other words, therapists focus on “why” certain behavioral patterns occur, and coaches work on “how” to work toward a goal.
Coaching does not focus on the past; rather, life coaching focuses on the present and creating the future that a client hopes to achieve. There is no psychoanalysis or medicines involved.
A life coach is someone who can help you see where your life is right now while also helping you create a vision of where you want to go. And a plan to help you get there. Throughout the process, a personal life coach will not only help guide you, but they will also provide you with support, encouragement & feedback throughout the journey.
